Medieval and Wine Festival — Soave, 15–17 May 2026

The walled village of Soave in the Verona hills hosts a three-day festival focused on local history and food & wine. The program blends historical reenactments, street entertainment and tastings featuring Soave wine.

Main program

• Medieval encampments and demonstrations of daily life at Parco della Rimembranza.
• Historical parades, flag-wavers, costumed performers and staged duels along the historic centre streets.
• Music and shows: concerts, evening performances and appearances by town bands.
• Tastings: food and wine stands, traditional wine fountain offering Soave samples and typical local products.
• Market of antiques and crafts with period objects and curiosities.
• Participation by local reenactment groups and the Imperial Castellania of Suavia.

Special event

Convivio Rustico dei Cavalieri — Saturday 16 May at 20:00: themed medieval dinner in Parco della Rimembranza with period-inspired menu, performances and a final fire show. Prices: €35 adults, €18 children up to 12 years, free up to 2 years. Booking required by email.
